Stella & Dot Review

Stella & Dot

Have you ever attended a direct sales party with a bunch of girlfriends? (think: Pampered Chef). A friend plays hostess while a commission-based sales woman shows off merchandise that you may or may not need. A few weeks later you’re the proud owner of an over-priced cheese plate!

I’ll admit, this was my impression of all direct sales companies — until I attended a Stella & Dot jewelry party at my friend Val’s house. Boy, did I have to eat my words. The party featured trendy jewelry, an laid back sales woman, friends, shopping, snacks, and booze. It was like a slice of heaven!

I’m now officially obsessed with Stella & Dot jewelry. All the pieces are modern and trendy (celebs and bloggers are often spotted wearing their jewelry). As far as price: I’d say it’s affordable, perhaps a hair pricier than I’d like. BUT you get what you pay for and the quality is top notch. Plus, I love mixing my cheap Forever 21 jewels with slightly nicer pieces. It’s all about mixing and matching!

Here are some of the fun items I picked up. You can buy Stella & Dot jewelry at an in-home trunk show or on their web site.
